Seagull Nebula is a large complex of gas and dust clouds with embedded young stars. It is dominated by reddish glow of ionized hydrogen. This is one of many sites of new star formation within the Milky Way galaxy. The nebula is nearly 240 light-years across and It is located 3,800 light-years away from Earth. |
